Sick Princess
My little princess is sick. The doc said it was viral and her flu swab was negative. She is running a fever, sinus stuff, and upset tummy. The doc was cleaning out her ear wax to see and her tube in the right ear came out. Mommy was so not happy about this! We knew it was on the way out, but I was praying that it would last to spring!!! Praying that she does not keep an ear infection this winter. It will take months to get an appointment to get it replaced, once they decide we need it. She seems to feel better this afternoon. She is still not herself, but definately improved from Friday. Mom brought Sarah and I back from Chatt and we sent the boys on to IN. Elijah did not need to be explosed to her, I would like for him to not miss school if at all possible. The boys will be home tomorrow. I am really missing them. Mom is also sick, so praying she feels better soon. My ears are back to needing to explode. Guess going over the mountain was not a good thing. Hmmm, sounds like we are falling apart!! We really had a great Thanksgiving, hope all of you did too. Doug took the camera to IN so I will post pictures next week.

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. God has blessed us so much we have tons to be thankful for. I have pictures to share, but Sarah was having a bad night, so I spent my time snuggling with my princess. Sorry, the kiddos come before the blog followers!!! I would not have it any other way. She was very chatty and I just love to here her talk. She is a true princess. I will update next week when we return from our travels!

Busy, Busy, Busy
We have been busy here at our house. Elijah finished up soccer. Seemed like all of his friends had birthdays. He is reading now in school and his sight word list has really grown. He has also grown and now several of his pants are a bit short! He can count to 100 with minimal help. He is really learning tons at school. Sarah has learned to kick the ball and play soccer. She can dress and undress with minimal help and is talking a lot more. She has actually started talking some at school(she tends to not talk around people she does not know well). She too has grown and is between sizes so it is hard to fit her right now!! Tonight Elijah let her play his leapster and she actually did okay. Our van has been in the shop 3 times in the last week and a half, but is now finally well. Sarah has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. She is doing great taking her medication. We go back in the morning to have her lab work redrawn to check her levels on meds. Praying it is in a good range. I hate to see her stuck. Doug and I are doing good. We went today and got Christmas presents for the kids. I only have 3 people left to buy for. I might get it done by Thanksgiving. I always try to be done with shopping by Thanksgiving, after that the stores are too crowded for me!!! Well, that is a quick update on us.

School Halloween Parties
Both of the kids had Halloween activities last Friday. Sarah had activities throughout her day with a special snack and they got to go trick-or-treating in the office. They wore their costumes all day. Elijah had a pizza party and then a costume parade. They both had a great day. We then went to the town square on Saturday for their Halloween trick-or-treating. Our church did not have their annual Fall Festival. I really missed it. Next year we will only do the church, no trick-or-treating, just goes against everything we believe in. If we had not already gotten costumes and told the kids about the fun at church before it was cancelled, we would have stayed home this year.
