Today

I have a great video to show you of Sarah moving and grooving!  But for some reason One True Media is having problems today.  It has taken me all day to upload it and now the site is down and I can't post it.  So frustrating!!  I will try and get it posted asap.  Doug's friend from IN is here tonight.  Elijah was so excited that Jason was coming for a visit.  He remembered that last year we went and played putt-putt and rode go-carts.  He wants to do that again.  Hope Jason does not mind a repeat of last year!  Jason also had a birthday earlier this week so Elijah was more than happy to celebrate with him!!  I will post that video as soon as I can and I will get pictures tomorrow to post of our adventures.  Guess I need to review last years pictures and make sure we do not wear the same colors or I will not be able to tell the years apart!

Perfectly NORMAL Vision!!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!  Sarah has normal vision.  He said that the depth perception was probably more of a motor skill and learning how to judge distance.  He did state that she was slightly far sighted, but was in the normal range for kids her age!  He said that she was so perfect(vision wise!) that there was no sense coming back for a follow-up.  He said if the pediatrician or we noticed something at a later date to bring her back, but for now everything was perfect.  I wanted to jump up and down for joy, but refrained.  They dilated her eyes and she is so not happy about it now.  She is so frustrated.  I am trying to get her to nap since we missed nap today and maybe by the time she awakes the vision will be better.  She is so not buying it.  I think it might be a long night!  Here are pictures of our adventure: Mister Attitude!  Man, I have 2 beautiful children!  Have you ever seen more beautiful children? 

Pictures for Grandma and Elizabeth

Grandma is staying with Elizabeth this week, so I figured Elizabeth would be showing Grandma our blog site.  Grandma does not have internet!  So here are a few more 4th pictures.  We will be heading to the eye doctor this afternoon to have Sarah's vision checked.  Her OT thinks she may be having some depth perception problems.  Praying it is nothing or at least simply fixed with glasses.  I will update tonight.   Elijah at VBS Sarah with piggy tails.  Well, got to go and get the kids dressed for the eye doctor.  Hope everyone has a great day!

July 4th Happenings!

Last night after supper we went to the 4th of July celebration in town.  They had inflatables, waterslides, games, food and entertainment.  It was lots of fun.  The weather was perfect.  There was a good breeze and it was cloudy so it was not real sunny.  The kids went down the big slide and Sarah pitched a big fit to go again, but the line was too long.  They then bounced in the castle inflatable, played some games and then we sat out our lawn chairs and blanket had a snack and waited for the fireworks.  The kids played with the freebies that we got while they waited. We took pictures, pictures, and more pictures.   Then we got all settled for the fireworks.  Thirty minutes to go and what are my kids doing?.... yep, going to sleep.  Then we changed laps/chairs for the millionth time and they it was time for fireworks. Hard to catch fireworks with a digital camera!!  The kids reacted to the fireworks... Sarah's response was a bit different. I think she was more upset that she was awakened than actually afraid of the fireworks.  She got in my lap and went back to sleep and was fine through the rest of the show.  Hope everyone had a great 4th like us.  

Watermarks on pictures.

For security reasons, I have decided to put a watermark across all of my pictures.  On a forum I read, there was a person that stole pictures from another person's photobucket account and passed the kids off as her own.  I know that blog page pictures can be used the same way, so I am going back and putting a watermark on all of my pictures.  It will take a few days I am sure, but I will be working on it.  Family and friends if there is a pictures you want, please email me and I will send it to you via email.  It will be better quality anyway.  Unfortunately the best place to put the watermark is in the middle of the picture where the action is or the person can cut the watermark off, so sorry some of the pictures on the blog will get a watermark across faces.  I will do better at cropping from now on so this will not be as bad.
