Friday Mayhem

Let's just say, I do not think I could have crammed anymore into one day.  What a day.  It was a very good day, just overly busy.  We started the morning out early.  We got dressed and then straighten the house up, Pop-pop and Karen were coming.  We then drove downtown to talk at the orientation meeting for new people starting their adoption journey.  They had a change in locations, so we headed out to the new location.  Got there, I talked about our adoption and all the blessings during our journey.  We then left and headed to the pediatrician for well-visits for the kids.  Someone must have spilled the beans because of course both kids are sick.  No need to just go to the doctor to have a check-up, lets add some excitement to it!!!  Elijah is in the 50% for height and weight.  Passed his hearing, vision, and labs.  He got the flu mist and a RX for allergy meds.  Yep, needed that!  Sarah is in the 75% for height and 50% for weight.  Passed all of her stuff.  Ped very impressed at her walking already!!  Gave her flu mist and RX for allergies too.  Yippee both kids should feel better soon.  So glad they will be sneezing less snot on me so they feel better.  We then made a dash home, beat Pop-pop and Karen, did not beat the kids falling to sleep.  Tried to put both to bed.  Elijah went down ok, Sarah must of had an on button on the back of her head, she was awake.  Fed her and us, tried the nap thing again.  Did not work.  Pop-pop and Karen arrive.  Everyone awake now!!!  Chatted a bit the Elijah got to open his presents.  Man did he have fun!  Tons of Bibleman stuff.  His new favorite thing.God's Handiwork God's Handiwork God's Handiwork God's Handiwork God's Handiwork God's Handiwork I must say(please don't tell Elijah) the Bibleman mask makes his face so pretty.  The long curled eyelashes come out of the mask and the mask coming down around his mouth is just beautiful...handsome.  I really love this mask on him!  He is loving the costume.  I wonder who is going to get hurt first?!?!  He is a bit wild with the sword of truth--the word of God.   We then rested a bit and let Elijah play with his new toys.  We then went to the pumpkin patch.  Of course, being the good mommy I took my camera being so tired by this point, I forgot the camera.  BUT  I took pictures when we got home.  Sarah fell asleep on the way and did not wake up so Karen stayed in the van with her.  Elijah picked out pumpkins for both of them.  He was so funny going around picking up pumpkins saying he had to find an Elijah size one!  He had the pick of the patch, and really picked a small one.  I figured he would pick a big one.  He got a baby one for Sarah.  Sorry about the picture, Sarah was in a silly mood.  I took several and never got one with her looking at me. God's Handiwork God's Handiwork God's Handiwork We then went out to eat.  Elijah got to pick since it was his birthday again!  He picked the chips store(Mexican Restaurant for those of you that don't speak Elijahian), his favorite place to eat.  Since the kids were well rested and not over stimulated by the days activities our kids they were whiney at supper as usual.  We then came home and let the kids decorate their pumpkins.  They had a blast.
