Wordless Wednesday/Special Exposure

Ok, not so wordless, I need to explain!  Yesterday Elijah was playing and came into the kitchen crying while I was feeding Sarah her yogurt.  I looked up and he was bleeding.  I jumped up and took him to the bathroom to clean up his busted lip.   He is okay.   While I was gone, Sarah fed herself the yogurt.  This is the first time she has achieved getting food on the spoon and into her mouth(well, at least some of it!).  YooHoo!!  We are so proud of her!  I think the clean freak in me was preventing her from doing this sooner, but she can do it!!!!

Yea Sarah! It is so fun and sometimes messy when they start doing things on their own.

I know what you mean! It is so hard to let them get messy like that. It drives me crazy. Sometimes we just have to let it go. Afterall, it's just clothes, even if they get ruined. Look how proud she is of herself! Sorry for Elijah's split lip, though.

Awesome pictures, and what an accomplishment! My youngest (age 3) is starting to master eating with a spoon too, it's a huge step :).
